About
Orange Pages uses your Lightning wallet to sign you in — no password required. When you click Login, a QR code appears. Open your Lightning wallet, scan the code, and you're in. Compatible wallets include...
You just require an email address and a Lightning wallet. Your email is used to notify you when someone wants to buy from you or when a trade needs your attention. It's not shared publicly or sold to anyone.
A P2P (peer-to-peer) transaction is an instant, direct exchange of funds (bitcoin) between individuals, via a lightning wallet, without the need for traditional financial intermediaries like banks.
Orange Pages connects bitcoiners who want to sell or buy goods directly with each other. Sellers can create listings to offer items or services for sale and buyers can browse listings to find what you need. Once you find something you like, you click buy and will be provided with the contact details of your fellow bitcoiner and from there you can complete the transaction directly via your lightning wallet.
When you have completed a peer-to-peer trade with another Orange Pages user, you must provide feedback for the trade. This is a crucial element of Orange Pages, the Proof-of-Work mechanism if you will. This system ensures that Orange Pages is reputation-based, and users can make their own decisions on whether or not to trade with another user. Therefore you must provide feedback on a completed trade in order to be able to list or purchase new items.
Service listing: The fee is fixed at 10,000 sats and your listing will remain on Orange Pages until you remove it.
In order to calculate a user's score, points values are applied to those ratings:
Rugged (1 Point)
Ok (2 Points)
Sweet (3 Points).
A user's rating is then taken as the average of all their completed ratings so far, and they are assigned status based on the following averages:
Average of 2.5 or over = Maxi
Average of 1.5 - 2.49 = Bitcoiner
Average of 1.49 or less = Shitcoiner
No completed trades yet = Nocoiner
